Captain is seeking a hands-on 2nd Engineer for a private 50m motor yacht based in Barcelona. The role covers all 2nd engineering aspects and requires IT experience to manage onboard IT and electrical systems.

You will join a multinational crew, start date 19 September, with a full rotation schedule and year-round insurance. Salary is DOE and will be discussed in the interview; travel across the Med and Canary Islands in winter.

Formación

• Experience as 2nd Engineer on a motor vessel.
• Hands-on mechanical/electrical knowledge is essential.
• IT knowledge for onboard systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all 2nd engineering tasks on the 50m yacht.
• Maintain and monitor onboard IT and electrical systems.
• Work with a multinational crew during MED itineraries.

Full 2:2 rotation, 3 flights per year and insurance year round.

Looking for someone hands on for all 2nd Engineering aspects of a 50m motor vessel.

IT experience required as 2nd Engineer deals with IT / Electrical aspects of the vessels operations.

Crew is multinational from all over the world and the owners are some of the nicest in the industry. We are a family style private MY travelling around the Med most of the year and the Canary Islands in the winter.

Looking for someone who is professional / hard working yet enjoys life with a good sense of humour.

Having a european passport and residing local to europe would be highly beneficial to your application
