JINGDONG Logistics, part of JD.com, seeks a 1PL Delivery Operations professional to manage and optimize first-party logistics delivery processes. This role ensures efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods directly to customers, upholding JD.com's commitment to exceptional service.

You will oversee the 1PL network, plan routes, dispatch, and monitor performance metrics, while collaborating with warehousing, customer service, and technology teams to drive improvements and cost

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; master's preferred.
• 5+ years in logistics operations, with 2+ years in 1PL or last-mile delivery management.
• Strong understanding of TMS, route optimization software, and analytics tools.
• Proven track record of reducing costs and improving efficiency within a delivery network.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the 1PL delivery network, including route planning, dispatch, and last-mile delivery execution.
• Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage resource allocation, including fleet management and driver scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and policies.
• Collaborate with warehousing, customer service, and technology teams to streamline processes.
• Address operational issues, delivery exceptions, and customer complaints as needed.
• Use data analytics and logistics software to forecast demand and optimize routes.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of delivery personnel and implement training.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management.

Job Summary

JD.com, Inc. is seeking a 1PL Delivery Operations professional to manage and optimize our first-party logistics delivery processes. This role focuses on ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods directly to customers, upholding JD.com's commitment to exceptional service.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of JD.com's 1PL delivery network, including route planning, dispatch, and last-mile delivery execution.
• Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery rates, delivery success rates, cost per delivery) and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance delivery efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Manage and optimize resource allocation, including fleet management, driver scheduling, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as warehousing, customer service, and technology teams, to streamline end-to-end logistics processes.
• Address and resolve operational issues, delivery exceptions, and customer complaints related to 1PL delivery.
• Utilize data analytics and logistics software to forecast demand, optimize routes, and improve operational planning.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of delivery personnel and implement training programs as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, challenges, and proposed solutions for senior management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a direct 1PL or last-mile delivery management role.
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), route optimization software, and logistics analytics tools.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs within a delivery network.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in managing a large workforce.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with e-commerce logistics and express delivery industry trends.
