Universidade de Vigo is seeking a researcher to contribute to hydrogen solution development and validation, including experimental campaigns and data reporting. The role involves planning and analyzing experiments and proposing methodological improvements.

The position is a first-stage researcher (R1) with a temporary contract, aligned with the T03 Mechanical Engineering, Machines, and Thermal and Fluid Motors unit in Spain. 37.5 hours per week, deadline 22 Sep 2026.

Offer Description

Actively contribute to the development and validation of hydrogen solutions that include:

Transformation of distribution networks with hydrogen, validation of gas separation and

energy microgeneration, technical, economic and environmental evaluation of solutions.

Participate in the planning, monitoring and analysis of experimental campaigns.

Document and report the results, both internally and for dissemination.

Propose methodological improvements in the processing of experimental data.

Item 01: Academic qualifications. Professional experience in universities, public bodies or companies, and knowledge of foreign languages (punctuation: 30)

Item 02: Professional experience: Work carried out in areas relevant to the role, particularly in energy networks (punctuation: 30)

Item 03: Specific training related to the role and the tasks to be performed, as well as additional training (punctuation: 30)

Item 04: Personal interview. The interview will be conducted only with those candidates who, in the sum of the merits, reach a minimum of 50 points (punctuation: 10)
