Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in Herning, Denmark, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to drive outbound logistics from the warehouse to project sites. You will balance planning precision with quick decision-making, ensuring shipments are on schedule and documented accurately.

You’ll collaborate with the warehouse team and external carriers, using SAP and OneTMS to optimize load plans and resolve delays. A hands-on, organized mindset and fluent English are essential; Danish language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in transportation coordination, warehouse logistics, or freight operations.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and OneTMS or comparable Transport Management System.
• Experience with load planning and coordinating carriers and freight forwarders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily outbound transports, creating and managing transport orders in SAP and OneTMS.
• Book and monitor shipments with freight forwarders and carriers, tracking deliveries and resolving delays.
• Prepare and optimize load plans for trucks and containers, coordinating loading schedules with warehouse personnel.
• Maintain transportation data in SAP and OneTMS, processing goods movements and updating stakeholders.
• Coordinate with warehouse on shipment readiness, packaging, labeling and transport docs.
• Support inventory transfers between locations and project sites, resolving discrepancies.
