Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in Herning, Denmark, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to drive outbound logistics from our warehouse to trucks, containers and project sites, owning shipments from start to finish. Relocation to Brande is planned for December 2026.

You will coordinate with SAP and OneTMS, optimize load plans, monitor carriers, and keep stakeholders updated while collaborating closely with warehouse colleagues in a fast-paced wind-energy environment.

Qualifications

Experience in transportation coordination or warehouse logistics; relevant apprenticeship is a plus but not required.
Strong knowledge of SAP and OneTMS or similar Transport Management Systems.
Experience with load planning and coordinating carriers and freight forwarders.
Good Excel usage for lookup/monitoring; forklift license/certificate preferred.
Fluent English; Danish is an advantage; hands-on, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate daily outbound transports and create transport orders in SAP and OneTMS.
Book shipments with forwarders and carriers, monitor deliveries and resolve delays.
Prepare load plans for trucks/containers and align loading with warehouse staff.
Maintain transportation data in SAP/OneTMS and update stakeholders on status.
Coordinate with warehouse on readiness, packaging, labeling, and docs.
Support inventory transfers and resolve shipment discrepancies.
