Job summary

Kamstrup seeks a visionary Vice President of Software & Analytics to define and drive the future of its software offerings within Water. You will lead a transformation, align strategy with customer needs, and deliver AI-enabled digital solutions across software, data, and analytics.

You will shape the organization, capabilities, and working practices to accelerate innovation and ensure value creation in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Fluent in English and Danish is important.

• Extensive senior or executive leadership experience within software, digital platforms, or software-enabled products.
• Proven track record leading complex business and technology transformations.

Lead the future of Software & Analytics in Water

As Vice President of Software & Analytics you will be responsible for defining and driving the future of Kamstrup’s software offerings within our Water business. As a key member of the Water Leadership Team, you will help shape what we build, how we organize, prioritize, and operate to create value in a rapidly changing digital landscape. You will lead a transformation agenda that brings together strategy, organization, capabilities, technology, and products, ensuring that we are ready to capture the opportunities with long-term business objectives and customer needs.

More specifically, you will:

• Defining and executing the software and analytics strategy, setting clear priorities, translating business ambitions and customer needs into clear strategic priorities, choices, and measurable outcomes
• Leading the transformation towards an AI-enabled business, identifying where it can fundamentally change our products, customer experience, development practices, and ways of working
• Translating customer needs into scalable digital solutions, combining software, data, analytics, and AI to address real customer challenges, and create measurable value
• Shaping the organization and capabilities needed to build right structures, leadership capabilities, competencies, and ways of working to accelerate innovation and execution
• Driving effective prioritization and investment decisions, including resource allocation, development cost awareness, strategic partnerships, and sourcing models

As AI and data-driven technologies are rapidly changing customer expectations, product architectures, and business models, we are looking for a visionary yet execution-focused Vice President of Software & Analytics business to lead a fundamental transformation of how software, data, and AI create value within our Water business. Meet your future team

With a direct reference to the Senior Vice President – Water, you will be leading a Software & Analytics organization consisting of more than 50 software and analytics professionals.

As a member of the Water Leadership Team, you will work at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer value creation. You will collaborate closely with Product Management and Technology Metering Solutions & Connectivity to ensure a coherent, future‑proof software strategy across hardware, data, and digital services.

You will also play an important role in creating synergies and alignment across Kamstrup’s businesses leveraging shared technologies, capabilities, data, and digital opportunities where this creates value.

• Excel at building high‑performing organizations and developing leaders, while driving strategic decisions on priorities, partnerships, sourcing models, and investments

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish.
