Job summary

Kamstrup Water invites motivated students to join the Business Development team as an intern. You will help shape next-generation water utility solutions by researching technologies, markets, and potential partners during the innovation phase.

You will participate in workshops, generate pilots, and contribute to value propositions and business cases to guide future priorities. This is an international internship with a strong focus on personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Studying Global Business Engineering, Business & Water Technology, or a relevant MSc in Economics and Business Administration, Business Development, Digital Business Management or similar.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate clearly in a professional setting.
• Internship aims to translate theory into practical business development work.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn are valued alongside experience.

As an intern in our Water Ecosystem and Business Development team, you will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues to shape the next generation of solutions for water utilities. Your work will focus on exploring the right technologies, markets, and potential partners during the innovation phase. This includes identifying impactful solutions, creating pilots, and generating value propositions and business cases to guide future priorities.

More specifically you will be:

• Conducting desk research to investigate competitive solutions, markets, and potential partners.
• Participating in workshops and webinars to gain insights and foster collaboration.
• Contributing to idea generation sessions with customers or stakeholders to drive innovation.
• Supporting the development of business cases for promising opportunities.
• Assisting in managing projects related to the development and implementation of new solutions.

You will become a part of a department, that focuses on Business Development within Kamstrup Water business unit. The team consists of 2 dedicated employees and a student worker and is characterized by a youthful atmosphere where new ideas and sparring are the backbone of everything we do. The department is responsible for the expansion and growth of future solutions in the water solutions portfolio on a global scale.

We are looking for an analytical‑minded student who strives to create valuable commercial impact on our Water business unit. You have a commercial focus combined with a solution orientation mindset which empowers you to translate customer challenges into solutions.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

• Are studying Global Business Engineering, Business & Water Technology, or a relevant MSc in Economics and Business Administration, Business Development, Business Management, Digital Business Management, or similar. That being said, there are many entry points to this position
• As a person have a curious and creative mindset, allowing you to proactively seek new knowledge and thereby provide new ideas and challenge status quo
• Have a structured approach to your work, enabling you to manage several ongoing tasks while maintaining an overview
• Naturally strive towards ensuring quality results whether you are collaborating with colleagues or working independently

As we are an international organisation it is important that you are fluent in English.

Whilst you may not meet all the qualifications listed above, this is an internship position, and we value curiosity and a willingness to learn just as much as experience.
