Job summary

Kamstrup is seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering to lead our third-line engineering organization, designing, building, and evolving IT infrastructure and services that support Kamstrup's global business and operations.

You will own four domains, drive a scalable, modern, and secure infrastructure, and mentor engineers across Denmark and Spain. English fluency is required; travel is 5–10 days annually.

Here Is What The Job Entails

As our Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering, you will lead our third-line engineering organization, responsible for designing, building, and evolving the IT infrastructure and services that support Kamstrup's business and operations. The role combines technical leadership with ownership of delivery quality across four engineering domains. Your focus will be to ensure a scalable, modern, and secure infrastructure while building strong engineering standards, automation, and documentation.

• Defining and executing the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for a scalable and modern infrastructure across the four engineering domains
• Leading and developing engineering specialists and architects, and maturing the team into a true engineering organization with strong design-and-build practices across locations and cultures
• Owning and driving Service Configuration (CMDB), Release & Deployment, Availability & Capacity, and Service Continuity as ITIL processes – from definition to everyday practice
• Partnering closely with IT Operations (2nd line) and the Global IT Service Desk (1st line) to ensure a clear “run versus build” boundary and smooth handovers

With direct reference to our Director, Infrastructure & IT Operations, you will lead the engineering specialists who design and build Kamstrup’s digital workplace, core infrastructure, manufacturing IT, and identity & access services. The team is established across Denmark and Spain as part of our new organization, and the specialists are in place. Your focus will therefore be on ways of working, engineering standards, and technical direction rather than building the team from scratch. You can expect a collaborative and grounded culture with a strong focus on knowledge sharing, mutual trust, and technical excellence.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

• Bring experience managing infrastructure engineering, architecture, or platform teams, including technology, design standards, budget, and external vendors
• Have a proven track record of delivering major changes, new builds, and projects safely into production, with clean operational handover
• Excel at leading and developing technical teams, including managing people across countries and cultures in a global environment
• Possess solid working knowledge of one or more engineering domains: core infrastructure and cloud, the digital workplace, identity & access, or manufacturing/OT IT
