Job summary

Fuller Technologies seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to support Vertical roller mills at cement plants in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with ~70–80% travel and global assignments as needed. You will troubleshoot, install, commission, and maintain equipment, while training customers and collaborating with head office teams.

The role requires a strong mechanical engineering background, hands-on field experience, and the ability to read drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years hands-on field service, maintenance, or commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Experience with rotary systems in cement, grinding, or similar heavy industrial plants.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical inspections and site assessments prior to installations and maintenance.
• Oversee equipment installation, alignment and assembly at customer plants.
• Startup and commissioning of new systems and components; perform performance validation.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports with observations and corrective actions.
• Train customer personnel on operation and emergency procedures during startups.
• Maintain professional relationships with customer plant management and teams.
• Provide technical training and remote support via phone, email, and collaboration tools.
• Mentor junior field technicians and assist in onboarding new personnel.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report incidents; ensure environmental compliance.
