Engineering That Performs. Partnerships That Last.

For over 140 years, Fuller Technologies has refined processes, solved complex challenges, and worked alongside customers to make plants run cleaner and more efficiently. Our success comes exactly from this dual strength — engineering that performs, and relationships that last.

When you join Fuller, you join a company that backs your expertise and supports your growth. You’ll be part of a global organization that values collaboration, invests in its people, and builds opportunities that last — for customers and for your career.

About the role:

Our Field Service Engineers are mostly based on site at cement plants, primarily across Europe, Middle East and Africa, with opportunities to travel globally as required. This is a full time, highly field oriented role involving approximately 70–80% travel (around 180–200 travel days per year). This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and hands on experience in the field.

You will provide comprehensive technical support for Fuller Technologies' Vertical roller mills, covering installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. Combining hands on technical expertise with strong customer relationship management, you will help ensure optimal equipment performance and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

Working both independently and closely with plant teams, contractors, and technical colleagues at the head office, you will troubleshoot complex equipment failures, implement preventive maintenance programs, and contribute to continuous improvements in plant operations across a global customer base.

About the department:

The department works closely with customers to understand and respond effectively to their needs, often operating in dynamic and challenging environments. Collaboration, flexibility, and a strong customer focus are at the heart of the team, enabling us to deliver reliable service solutions and support our customers’ operations wherever they are.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conducting technical inspections and site assessments prior to equipment installations and maintenance
  • Overseeing and supervising equipment installation, alignment, and assembly at customer plants
  • Performing startup and equipment commissioning of new systems and related components
  • Conducting performance testing and validation against technical specifications
  • Preparing and submitting detailed commissioning reports documenting all activities, observations, and corrective actions
  • Training customer personnel on proper operation and emergency procedures during startup phase
Customer Relationship & Technical Support:
  • Maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with customer plant management and technical teams
  • Providing technical training to customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting
  • Responding to technical queries and provide remote support via phone, email, and collaboration tools
  • Conducting pre visit planning and material preparation to ensure efficient on site activities
  • Communicating project timelines, technical findings, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders
  • Contributing to customer satisfaction through reliable service delivery and professional conduct
Team Support & Knowledge Transfer:
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior field technicians and service contractors
  • Assisting in training and onboarding of new field service personnel
  • Contributing technical expertise to improvement initiatives and process enhancements
  • Sharing field experience and customer insights with engineering and product development teams
  • Participate in technical forums and continuous learning activities
Safety & Compliance:
  • Adhering strictly to all safety procedures, local regulations, and company policies
  • Conducting risk assessments before commencing work and implement appropriate safety measures
  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently and ensure safe work practices
  • Reporting all incidents, near misses, and safety concerns to management
  • Complying with local environmental regulations and site specific requirements
You bring:
