Bavarian Nordic in Denmark seeks a Manager to lead the Drug Product Development and Analysis Team within Process Development in Hørsholm. You will guide three Scientists and three Technicians, oversee formulation development, stability studies, and analytical task execution, while hands-on in reviewing results.

The role requires a strong background in biotechnology, protein chemistry, and analytical methods, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Biotechnology, Human Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field, preferably with a PhD in protein chemistry or related topic
• 3-5 years of relevant experience from biotech industry or academia; experience with pharmaceutical analyses (chromatographic, particle, protein methods)
• Experience with formulation development, statistical data analysis, and understanding of protein chemistry
• Fluency in spoken and written English is required

• Ensure established analysis assays run smoothly, deliver high-quality data on time, and develop new assays
• Communicate daily with the team and collaborate with Production, Quality Control, and R&D
