Job summary

Bavarian Nordic is seeking a Manager of the Biochemistry scientist team to lead a group of scientists and support vaccine quality through robust QC delivery. You will oversee analytical testing, method development, validation and comparability testing within a GMP environment.

You will lead the scientist team within a QC department of about 90 employees, collaborating with laboratory technicians, QC and manufacturing to ensure data integrity, inspection readiness and efficient analytical

Qualifications

• Led teams in GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience with analytical testing and method development.
• Ability to manage priorities across QC and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with data integrity and QA systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the scientist team with clear direction and development plans.
• Balance scientific workload with operational priorities and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and QA systems and maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with QC, manufacturing and stakeholders to improve workflows and reduce lead times.
