Are you passionate about ensuring complex IoT and connectivity solutions perform reliably before reaching customers? Do you thrive at the intersection of system architecture, embedded firmware, verification, and AI? And do you want to help shape the future of verification and validation for connected products in a modern engineering organization?

Here Is What The Job Entails

As our Test Manager, Connectivity Solutions, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and release readiness of our connectivity products, embedded firmware, and integrated solutions.

Working closely with Solution Architects, Systems Engineers, Firmware Developers, and Hardware Engineers, you will drive verification activities across disciplines and help shape the future of testing within the Water Division.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Defining and driving the verification strategy throughout the product lifecycle
  • Leading verification activities across firmware, hardware, connectivity, and integrated solutions
  • Ensuring traceability, test coverage, and alignment from requirements to release readiness
  • Driving AI-enabled verification, test automation, and modern quality engineering practices
  • Building and strengthening the capabilities, processes, and governance supporting the future test organization within the Water Division

Combine hands‑on technical impact with strategic influence as you drive verification excellence, shape future testing practices, and help bring innovative connected solutions safely to market.

Meet your future team

Reporting to the Director of Connectivity, you will join the Solutions Architect team within the Water Division. Working alongside specialists in connectivity, embedded systems, wireless communication, system architecture, and product development, you will help ensure our solutions are verified and validated before release.

You will be part of an informal and collaborative environment characterized by strong technical expertise, knowledge sharing, and a shared commitment to delivering high‑quality solutions to our customers.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for a Test Manager who thrives in complex engineering environments and brings structure, quality, and continuous improvement to the verification of connected solutions. Combining analytical thinking with a pragmatic approach, you are comfortable challenging assumptions, identifying risks, and driving quality through collaboration, automation, and emerging technologies.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline, and have experience testing embedded, firmware‑based, connected, or IoT products
  • Understand systems integration, and acceptance testing and can develop effective verification strategies and test plans from product requirements and used cases
  • Have hands‑on experience with Python, embedded C, test automation, and embedded systems debugging
  • Collaborate effectively across hardware, firmware, connectivity, and software domains with both specialists and project stakeholders
  • Take ownership, communicate clearly, and drive continuous improvements through automation, AI‑enabled verification, and modern quality engineering

Experience with wireless communication technologies, Grafana, test management tools, requirements management, systems engineering practices, or AI‑assisted verification is considered an advantage.

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English.

Whilst you may not meet all the qualifications listed above, you could still be a good candidate for the position. If you find the role intriguing, do not hesitate to apply.

We are more than an ordinary workplace

We cherish the good colleagueship which we all contribute to, the only limit is your engagement. As we are a big organization you are bound to find one or more colleagues who share the same interest as you. This might be in our board game club, on our cycling team, during our yearly summer festival, or on the padel court. For example, our Team lead, Service Delivery is also our volunteer padel instructor while one of our Software Test Engineers run weekly spinning classes.

Besides the best colleagues you could imagine, we also offer:

  • Work life balance through flexible working hours
  • Employee benefits including a healthy canteen, fitness facilities, in‑house dental clinic, hairdresser, and a free health clinic
  • An active employee association that fosters a collaborative and supportive workplace community
  • Beneficial health care and insurance package

The job will be located at Kamstrup's headquarters in Stilling, between Aarhus and Skanderborg.
