Job summary

Kamstrup invites driven students to join the Connectivity for Water Solutions team as an intern. You will support our firmware engineers on prototypes, embedded software tasks, and data analysis, while exploring LoRaWAN and 4G/LTE technologies in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering and possess a proactive mindset, strong communication, and a genuine curiosity for new tech. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Interest in embedded software and development activities.
• Able to work structurally and handle several tasks at once.
• Strong communication and collaboration across levels of the organization.
• Proactive mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new technologies.

Here Is What The Job Entails

As an intern in Connectivity for Water solutions, you will work with a wide range of tasks within Kamstrup's cellular and LoRa technology domain. A significant part of your work will involve supporting our development team with ongoing projects and activities.

More specifically, you will be:

• Supporting building prototypes using the latest technologies
• Working with embedded software development
• Collecting and analyzing test data for ongoing technology projects
• Exploring 4G/LTE technology primarily based on 3GPP CAT-M and NB-IoT
• Obtaining experience with LoRaWAN protocol
• Developing various scripts typically in Python

In this position you will have the opportunity to actively participate in ongoing projects in close collaboration with the other engineers and become an integrated part of the team. Your final tasks will be tailored to your competencies and interests, but you will work on real challenges that contribute to our development projects.
