Job summary

Arrow Electronics, operating Arrow ECS Global in Denmark, seeks a Technical Specialist with a strong technical and commercial mindset. You will bridge Sales, Technical teams, vendors, partners, and customers to design solutions and deliver the necessary technical support.

The role is approximately 70% technical and 30% commercial, with travel two times per week regionally and quarterly across EMEA. Office locations: Viby J or Ballerup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a vendor, partner, or distributor environment.
• Strong technical background with understanding of infrastructure.
• Experience with NetApp is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel regionally (2x per week) and in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to resellers during customer meetings.
• Architect and design IT infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, and security.
• Develop technical configurations (BOM) and pricing with Account Managers.
• Plan, set up, and run PoC demonstrations to showcase value.
• Conduct workshops, webinars, and technical training for resellers.
• Contribute to tender responses (RFI/RFP) with technical documentation.
• Coordinate across Sales and Operations and navigate vendor systems.

Technical Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Specialist who combines strong technical expertise with a commercial mindset and a true 360 approach.

In this role, you will be a key link between Sales, Technical teams, vendors, partners, and customers. You will help design the right solutions, translate technical requirements into business value, and make sure our customers and partners get the technical support they need.

The role is approximately 70% technical and 30% commercial, with the exact balance depending on customer and business needs.

You can work from our offices etiher in Viby J or Ballerup.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Technical Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor to our resellers and assist them during customer meetings.
• Solution Design: Architect and design complex IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, and security.
• Configuration & Quotation: Develop technical configurations (BOM – Bill of Materials) and pricing in close collaboration with Account Managers.
• Proof of Concept (PoC): Plan, set up, and execute technical demonstrations and PoC initiatives to demonstrate the value of our solutions.
• Enablement & Training: Conduct workshops, webinars, and technical training sessions for our reseller network to educate them on manufacturers’ portfolios and solutions.
• Tender Responses: Contribute technical documentation and responses to RFI/RFP processes and public/private tenders.
• Follow-up & Coordination: Navigate internal and vendor systems, manage processes, and act as the link between Sales and Operations.

What We Are Looking For

• We are looking for a 360 thinker
• Someone who can keep several things moving at once, connect the dots, and look beyond the immediate task and challenge.
• You naturally think 360 around the customer, partner, business, and our own internal systems and processes. You are comfortable navigating across different stakeholders and topics, and you are not afraid to take ownership and figure things out.
• You are curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by finding win-win solutions. You communicate comfortably with both technical and commercial audiences and can turn complex technical topics into clear and meaningful messages.
• We expect you to have at least 5 years of relevant experience within a vendor, partner, or distributor environment. A strong technical background and understanding of infrastructure s essential, while experience with NetApp and knowledge of the channel ecosystem are highly desirable.
• Willingness to do regional (2x week) and EMEA (quarterly) traveling;
• Fluency in Danish and English
