Job summary

Arrow Electronics in Denmark seeks a Technical Specialist to bridge Sales and Tech teams, translating requirements into valuable IT solutions. The role is 70% technical and 30% commercial, focusing on design, configuration, and customer-facing demonstrations.

You will collaborate with account managers, vendors, and customers, delivering technical support and driving successful deployments from our Viby J or Ballerup offices.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience within a vendor, partner, or distributor environment.
• Strong technical background and understanding of infrastructure.
• Experience with NetApp and knowledge of the channel ecosystem desirable.
• Fluency in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to our resellers and assist them during customer meetings.
• Architect and design complex IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, and security.
• Develop technical configurations (BOM) and pricing in close collaboration with Account Managers.
• Plan, set up, and execute technical demonstrations and PoC initiatives to demonstrate the value of our solutions.
• Conduct workshops, webinars, and technical training sessions for our reseller network to educate them on manufacturers’ portfolios and solutions.
• Contribute technical documentation and responses to RFI/RFP processes and public/private tenders.
• Navigate internal and vendor systems, manage processes, and act as the link between Sales and Operations.

Technical Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Specialist who combines strong technical expertise with a commercial mindset and a true 360 approach.

In this role, you will be a key link between Sales, Technical teams, vendors, partners, and customers. You will help design the right solutions, translate technical requirements into business value, and make sure our customers and partners get the technical support they need.

The role is approximately 70% technical and 30% commercial, with the exact balance depending on customer and business needs.

You can work from our offices etiher in Viby J or Ballerup.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Technical Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor to our resellers and assist them during customer meetings.
• Solution Design: Architect and design complex IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, and security.
• Configuration & Quotation: Develop technical configurations (BOM – Bill of Materials) and pricing in close collaboration with Account Managers.
• Proof of Concept (PoC): Plan, set up, and execute technical demonstrations and PoC initiatives to demonstrate the value of our solutions.
• Enablement & Training: Conduct workshops, webinars, and technical training sessions for our reseller network to educate them on manufacturers’ portfolios and solutions.
• Tender Responses: Contribute technical documentation and responses to RFI/RFP processes and public/private tenders.
• Follow-up & Coordination: Navigate internal and vendor systems, manage processes, and act as the link between Sales and Operations.

What We Are Looking For

• We are looking for a 360 thinker
• Someone who can keep several things moving at once, connect the dots, and look beyond the immediate task and challenge.
• You naturally think 360 around the customer, partner, business, and our own internal systems and processes. You are comfortable navigating across different stakeholders and topics, and you are not afraid to take ownership and figure things out.
• You are curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by finding win-win solutions. You communicate comfortably with both technical and commercial audiences and can turn complex technical topics into clear and meaningful messages.
• We expect you to have at least 5 years of relevant experience within a vendor, partner, or distributor environment. A strong technical background and understanding of infrastructure s essential, while experience with NetApp and knowledge of the channel ecosystem are highly desirable.
• Willingness to do regional (2x week) and EMEA (quarterly) traveling;
• Fluency in Danish and English
