Job summary

ApplyMint is seeking a Technical Director to push the cutting edge of game technology and enable the team to realise creative goals. You will own the tech direction while growing a high-performing team across Copenhagen, Denmark and Vilnius, Lithuania, partnering with top industry studios and tool vendors to maintain quality.

While you come from a strong technical background, your focus is on building and supporting the team, guiding architecture, and ensuring excellent development tools.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large development teams.
• Experience driving game tech strategy and architecture.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Translate and extrapolate key technical requirements for the game so they can be easily communicated, understood and built out.
• Interact with key partners (Epic, Apple, Sony, Microsoft etc.) to ensure best tools/systems are available and resolve technical challenges.
• Think long term about strategy, planning and architecture with a strong technical overview of ongoing development.
• Proactively anticipate challenges ahead.
• Lead, mentor and grow a diverse development team in Copenhagen, Denmark and Vilnius, Lithuania.
• Coordinate between teams to align resources and inform decisions.
