Job summary

ApplyMint is building an AI director for interactive entertainment, and we’re hiring a Senior Product Engineer to join the small engineering team in Denmark. You’ll own the platform around the narrative engine—the systems that deliver stories to players, the creator tools, and the reliable infrastructure that keeps it running.

You’ll work on platform architecture, real-time delivery, and integrations with third‑party services, using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node backends.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years, hands-on; senior enough to work unsupervised and code daily.
• A finisher who ships and maintains.
• Autonomous and proactive.
• Data-driven, measure product usage and costs.
• User‑experience focused, collaborates with designers.
• Communicates openly and flags problems early.

Responsibilities

• Platform architecture: real-time delivery of AI-generated narratives and scalable catalogs.
• Build creator tools to design characters, settings, and AI-driven stories.
• Manage payments, plans, paywalls, entitlements, refunds.
• Coordinate slow or unreliable APIs with retries and fallbacks.
• Deployment, monitoring, tracing, debugging production costs.
• Code reviews, CI, testing culture, and CI/CD improvements.
