Job summary

BIG, Copenhagen, seeks a senior Head of Design Technology to lead and grow the DT team, setting direction across BIM, computational design, AI, Sustainability, and Visualization. You will stay hands-on, building tools and deploying applications on live projects with real deadlines.

You will align local efforts with BIG’s global DT strategy, mentor leaders, and shape standards while delivering practical value to project teams. Fluency in AI and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design technology experience with leadership.
• Strong proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, Python and/or C#.
• Experience with BIM workflows and Revit interoperability.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI tools in a design context.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Copenhagen Design Technology team across BIM, computational design, AI, Sustainability, Model Shop and Visualization.
• Define and drive local DT roadmap aligned with global strategy.
• Champion AI adoption across the studio and scale AI tools within live projects.
• Develop tools and plugins for Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit; contribute to complex deliverables.
• Establish standards and interoperability between design and BIM environments.
