Job summary

Salling Group Denmark seeks a People & Communication Manager to lead the People & Communication team and shape digital solutions used across the organisation. You will balance people leadership with responsibility for our AI, automation and cloud-based initiatives, ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers and tech teams to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions while fostering an agile, Scrum-based way of working

Join Salling Group Tech as our new People & Communication Manager, where you will lead a team responsible for digital and automated solutions supporting more than 60,000 employees across Salling Group.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the team and our solution portfolio while ensuring stable operations and support. You will work with stakeholders and suppliers and contribute to our ambition to transform processes through AI and new technology.

Our main tasks and products

The People & Communication team in Salling Group Tech develops, operates and supports digital solutions used across our organization. Our solutions help create efficient processes for employees across Salling Group.

We work with cloud-based solutions and explore opportunities to simplify and automate processes through technology. The team works in an agile, Scrum-based setup, where collaboration and continuous improvement are part of our way of working.

As Leader of People & Communication, you will set the direction for the team and take responsibility for the development and operation of our solutions.

Your role

As our People & Communication Manager, you will combine people leadership with responsibility for our digital solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and develop the team and support its progression
• Drive the development of the People & Communication solution portfolio

• Manage supplier relationships and partnerships
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into digital solutions
• Support the team’s agile and Scrum-based ways of working
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes
• Explore how AI and new technology can support and transform existing processes
• Balance operational needs with the long-term development of the area

Your Experience & Personal Profile

You have leadership experience and know how to create direction and develop a team. You give people responsibility and create an environment where they can collaborate and progress.

You understand Tech solutions and are comfortable working between technology and business. Experience with cloud-based solutions, agile ways of working and supplier management is an advantage.

You are interested in new technology and understand how AI, automation and digitalization can improve processes. At the same time, you recognize the importance of stable operations and solutions that meet the needs of the organization.

You take ownership, work in a structured way and are comfortable making decisions. You build relationships across teams and organizational levels and can communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
