Job summary

Senmatic A/S is seeking a strategic IT leader to steer the ongoing ERP project and broaden the company’s digital footprint. You will collaborate with the CFO and management to define IT priorities, align business needs with technology, and drive AI-enabled value across the organization.

You will help modernize the IT landscape, moving from on‑premise to cloud solutions, and coordinate with external ERP partners to maintain momentum and deliver concrete results.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP projects, preferably Business Central or similar.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience with cloud solutions and migration from on‑premise to cloud.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and IT–business alignment.

Would you like to play a key role in a company where digitalization, ERP, and AI are high on the agenda? Then you now have the opportunity to become the person who helps set the direction for Senmatic's future IT landscape. We do not have an internal IT department, so you will be the one connecting the dots and ensuring that our digital ambitions are translated into concrete solutions.

Roots on Fyn – a global outlook

For over 50 years, Senmatic has developed and manufactured sensors for the wind, marine, container, and energy industries. At the same time, we develop and manufacture climate computers, fertilizer mixers, and other technological solutions for the horticultural industry.

We are a solid Danish technology company with roots on Funen and part of the Swedish industrial group Indutrade, which consists of more than 230 companies and around 10,000 employees worldwide.

In Søndersø, we are approximately 90 colleagues who handle the entire development and production process – from the initial idea to the finished product.

You will report directly to our CFO and become part of a management team where sparring, engagement, and short decision‑making paths are a natural part of daily life.

You will become a key player in our digital development

Naturally, you will get time to thoroughly familiarize yourself with our current setup and learn to know the business. But because our ERP project is already underway and needs momentum, you will quickly gain a central role in ensuring that the project moves safely forward.

At the same time, you will be responsible for the continued modernization of our IT landscape, where the transition from on‑premise to cloud is an important focus area.

In addition, you will:

• work closely with our CFO on IT strategy, priorities, and decisions, as well as serve as an advisor to management on IT and digitalization initiatives
• help develop and implement the company's AI strategy and identify where AI can create value in the business
• coordinate cooperation with our external IT and ERP partners and ensure progress in ongoing projects

You navigate comfortably in the intersection between IT and business

You do not need to be an expert in using an ERP system, but you know the language – and can engage in a qualified dialogue with suppliers and partners. At the same time, you are able to communicate complex IT issues in a way that makes sense to those without a technical background.

Additionally, we imagine that you:

• have solid experience with project management and ERP implementations – preferably Business Central or similar – and have experience migrating from legacy systems such as Axapta to modern platforms
• have experience with cloud solutions such as Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365
• have a good understanding of manufacturing companies and their processes – and can translate business needs into concrete IT solutions
• can drive progress in complex projects and bring together many different stakeholders
• have an interest in and knowledge of AI and data‑driven business, seeing it as a natural part of the digital company of the future.
