Novo Nordisk is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join AI & Digital Innovation in Research Tech Delivery. You will drive the architectural direction and deliver scalable digital solutions for R&D researchers.

You will lead end-to-end development, working with researchers, product managers, and data engineers in a global, collaborative environment. Proficiency in Python, Kafka, AWS, and Kubernetes is highly valued.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership.
Strong end-to-end architecture experience across applications, data, and cloud layers.
Backend expertise in Python, API design, distributed systems, and SOA.
Experience with event-driven architectures and data-intensive systems.
Practical Kafka experience and familiarity with AWS services.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical direction of end-to-end digital products.
Design and develop applications using modern technologies and integrate existing solutions.
Define architecture across apps, data, search, and cloud layers.
Ensure observability, security, quality, and engineering discipline.
Collaborate with researchers, PMs, data and software engineers across teams.
