Novo Nordisk is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Research Tech Delivery team within AI & Digital Innovation, R&D. You will shape digital solutions combining web tech, cloud, data services, search, and AI, while actively contributing to architecture and development.

You will lead a cross‑functional team, define technical direction, and drive platform evolution from PoCs to production systems in a global, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of professional software engineering experience with architecture responsibilities.
Strong backend development experience and AWS/Kubernetes familiarity.
Experience with Kafka, data-intensive systems, and secure SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end technical direction of digital products.
Design and develop scalable, secure applications using modern tech.
Define architecture across apps, data, search and cloud layers.
Establish observability, security, quality, and engineering practices.
Collaborate with researchers, product managers, and engineers across teams.
