Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to shape AI-enabled products within Enterprise AI. You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers across Commercial, Manufacturing & Product Supply, and other areas to turn AI use cases into reliable products that deliver value to patients.

You will own substantial delivery workstreams, with a strong emphasis on software delivery, responsible AI practices, and scalable, observable systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI or software product delivery experience
• Experience taking AI-centric applications from idea to production
• Hands-on experience operating AI solutions in production
• Strong foundation in statistics and machine-learning concepts
• Proficient in modern development practices including CI/CD and APIs
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and coding agents
• Knowledge of model context protocols and observability approaches
• Ability to align stakeholders and shape technical and product decisions
• Demonstrated end-to-end AI delivery ownership
• Collaborative mindset and continuous curiosity about AI field

Responsibilities

• Taking AI- and ML-centric use cases from discovery through production and improvement
• Engineering the product-specific intelligence layer including data transformations and integrations
• Partnering with stakeholders to frame problems, set priorities, and define outcomes
• Using AI-assisted development tools and coding agents to improve efficiency
• Engineering reliable, scalable, secure, and observable solutions with testing and CI/CD
• Applying Responsible AI, data integrity, validation, and auditability in a regulated pharma environment
• Reusing shared capabilities and turning lessons into reusable patterns
• Owning substantial delivery workstreams and mentoring engineers
