Job summary

Coop Trading A/S in Copenhagen is seeking a proactive Supply Coordinator to optimize the flow of goods and secure high service levels for our Nordic stores. You will manage supplier changes, product launches and onboarding, and work on cross-functional projects to improve supply chain operations.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics, strong data discipline, and excellent English communication. A hybrid office setup in Copenhagen and occasional travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Short to medium long education in logistics.
• 2+ years experience within logistics, transport, or production.
• Experience handling delivery issues and value chain from supplier to store.
• Experience in project management.
• Proficient in MS Office and IT systems.
• Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of Nordic languages may help.

Responsibilities

• Problem solving on delivery issues with suppliers and national order planners.
• Secure high service level and coordinate supplier changes, assortment changes, launches, onboarding new suppliers.
• Develop supply strategies with Procurement to ensure high service level and Total Cost of Ownership.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve supply chain operations.
• Continuously optimize the supply chain with suppliers.

Our Supply team ensure a high service level to our 4000 Nordic stores. The team consists of 9 Supply Coordinators and Master Data Assistants that plan and manage time schedules for the changes in the assortment or secure and optimize the flow of goods to the national Coop warehouses.

Your key responsibilities:
The tasks in the position are many and varied, and will among other things include:

• Problem solving on delivery issues in close cooperation with suppliers and Coops national order planners
• Secure high service level and coordinate supplier changes, assortment changes, new product launches, and onboarding new suppliers
• Develop supply strategies together with our Procurement department to ensure high service level and a Total Cost of Ownership within our contracts
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve supply chain operations
• Continuously optimize the supply chain in collaboration with suppliers
  

To thrive in this role, we expect you to:

• Have a short to medium long education in logistics
• Have +2 years of experience within logistics, transport, or production
• Have experience working with delivery issues and the value chain from supplier to store
• Have experience in project management
• Are a proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite, with experience using IT systems
• Have effective written and spoken communication skills in English (knowledge of Nordic languages)
• You are structured and very detail-oriented, understanding the high importance of data discipline
• Have clear accountability for your work
• Have a “one step ahead” and forward-thinking mindset with a willingness to improve things and keep improving them
• Are service-minded and attentive to your stakeholders
• Are cooperative, have a good business understanding and understands the value of collaboration

You are expected to work from the office each week; however, remote work on certain days is possible by agreement with your manager.
You can expect 10-20 days of travel per year with the possibility of overnight stays.
