Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking an energized student for a Sustainable Operations internship focused on energy data analysis, forecasting, and decarbonization. You will support calculations, build dashboards in Excel, and help communicate sustainability initiatives across functions.

You will work 15–20 hours per week during the semester, with a hybrid work setup. Ideal candidates are enrolled in engineering, sustainability, or data-focused programs and have strong analytical and presentation skills,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum two years remaining in studies before graduation.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and modelling.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Sustainable Operations is the global department within LEGO Group that leads the change journey towards zero environmental impact in our factories. We lead, design and implement sustainable solutions primarily within energy/CO2, water, and waste - in a circular mindset. Moreover, we are responsible for managing the tracking of realized reductions towards zero-impact, and the programme office for sustainability in Engineering & Workplace. We identify and implement reduction projects in close collaboration with the production sites and other partners. We take our part in a global force for good to reduce negative impact on the environment. Our part in this journey is to reduce energy consumption, remove CO2 emissions, eliminate waste, and reduce water consumption in our Operations in the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum two years remaining in studies before graduation.

Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and modelling. Passion for sustainability, climate strategy, energy management, renewable energy, and decarbonization initiatives. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Available to work approximately 15-20 hours per week during the semester.
