Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to design and maintain reliable data foundations for Operations, enabling better decisions through data and analytics across manufacturing and engineering.

In a hybrid role based in Billund with collaboration across sites, you will build dimensional models, Databricks data products, and scalable analytics solutions, blending data engineering with business insight.

Qualifications

  • Created, maintained, and automated ETL pipelines in cloud-based platforms.

  • Developed reliable data products that enabled stakeholders to access and use trusted data.

About the role

As our Senior Analytics Engineer, you'll help the LEGO Group build a reliable data foundation that enables Manufacturing and Engineering teams to make better decisions through data. You'll design and maintain dimensional data models, create scalable data products on Databricks, and support the delivery of analytics solutions that create value across Operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll combine data engineering, analytics, and business understanding to deliver solutions that people use and trust.

Required Qualifications
  • Delivered solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL in production environments.
  • Built dimensional data models that supported reporting, analytics, or operational decision-making.
  • Created, maintained, and automated ETL pipelines in cloud-based platforms.
  • Applied DevOps and DataOps practices to improve quality, scalability, security, and automation.
  • Worked with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud to deliver data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Applied agentic data engineering concepts in data platform environments.
  • Used Power BI Dataflow or similar technologies within data and analytics ecosystems.
  • Delivered analytics or data engineering solutions in manufacturing environments.
  • Developed Databricks-based reporting, dashboards, or analytics capabilities.

Life on the team

You’ll join the Data Engineering & Analytics team within Engineering & Workplace in Operations. Together, we help Manufacturing(shopfloor) and Engineering(R&D) in becoming even more data driven than today.

Data Engineering & Analytics is part of Manufacturing Products and Data Enablement, with the purpose of “getting value from Data”. We work in a hybrid rhythm across Billund and Nyíregyháza, with regular team collaboration and a strong focus on sharing ideas and solving problems together.

You’ll thrive if you’re collaborative, curious, comfortable working independently, and able to communicate technical concepts clearly while building strong relationships with stakeholders.

What success looks like

Success means delivering reliable data products that stakeholders trust and use. You'll help strengthen data modelling practices, improve the availability and quality of data, and contribute to scalable solutions that support an expanding manufacturing footprint.

Working closely with product managers, project managers, peers, and business stakeholders, you’ll help shape how data creates value across Operations.
