Job summary

LEGO Group seeks a Tech Ops Student Worker to maintain and optimize hardware, software, and access across LEGO Game. You will support teams with data, research, and documentation while contributing to tooling, licenses, and environment configurations.

Qualifications

• Some scripting experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations within the department and team.
• Support projects by conducting research, data analysis, and compiling reports.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute improvement ideas.
• Help create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with interns and staff to complete tasks and projects.
• Maintain, catalog, and document hardware and software across LEGO Game teams.
• Ensure team members have access to required platforms, tools, and environments.
• Set up and manage software licenses, permissions, and configurations.
• Liaise with internal IT teams to facilitate operations and resolve issues.
• Monitor and improve development workflows, deployments, and system performance.
• Assist in automating infrastructure and development environments.
• Support onboarding by ensuring new employees have tools access.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices.

As a Tech Ops Student Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, tracking, and optimizing hardware and software resources across LEGO Game. You will ensure that all teams have the necessary tools, access, and infrastructure to work efficiently.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations within the respective department and team.
• Support team members on ongoing projects by conducting research, data analysis, and compiling reports.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Help create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with other interns and staff to complete assigned tasks and projects.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support team objectives.
• Maintaining, cataloging, and documenting hardware and software used across LEGO Game teams.
• Ensuring all team members have access to the platforms, tools, and environments they need.
• Setting up and managing software licenses, permissions, and configurations.
• Liaising with internal IT teams to facilitate smooth operations and resolve technical issues.
• Monitoring and improving development workflows, deployment processes, and system performance.
• Assisting in automating and optimizing infrastructure and development environments.
• Supporting onboarding processes by ensuring new employees have the necessary tools and access.
• Keeping track of emerging technologies and best practices to improve efficiency and security.

Requirements

• A student of Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, IT administration, or system management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus.
• Some experience with scripting is beneficial but not required.
• A structured and detail-oriented mindset for tracking and managing software and hardware resources.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT and game development teams.
• A passion for gaming and an interest in the gaming industry is a bonus!
• Knowledge of Atlassian Software, JIRA/CONFLUENCE Danish and English at C1-C2 levels.
