Hempel is seeking a Student Assistant to join the R&D Laboratory Management team at our Kongens Lyngby headquarters. The role focuses on ensuring laboratory safety, compliance, and efficient operations while supporting R&D teams with practical and administrative tasks.

You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific field, with an interest in laboratory safety, calibration, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, biotechnology, life sciences, engineering, or environmental science.
• No prior lab experience required, but helpful.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update laboratory data and documentation.
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of equipment.
• Manage chemical safety databases and documentation.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Greet ad hoc support to R&D teams and manage inventory tasks.
