Ascendis Pharma in Hellerup, Denmark, is seeking a Student Assistant for HR Operations Europe. You will join the HR Operations Europe team to provide administrative day-to-day HR support, assist onboarding, and help maintain HR systems.

We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant for HR Operations Europe to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in administrative day-to-day HR operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.
You will be joining the HR Operations Europe team consisting of 5 colleagues, within the Global HR team of 25 colleagues, and report directly to Rikke Grøndahl Hansen, Director of HR Operations Europe who is based in Hellerup, where you will also be based.
Your key responsibilities will be:

You are currently enrolled and pursuing an academic degree. Preferably, you are in your 3rd semester of your Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, HR, or communications.
Ideally you have experience from a similar position, however, your drive and willingness to learn and develop is more important as you will have plenty of support and opportunity to grow in this role.
You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.
You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.
To succeed in this role, we also expect you to be highly detail-oriented and thorough, take ownership of your tasks and follow them through to completion, and be motivated by delivering high-quality work, also when tasks are repetitive. Finally, we expect you to be motivated by improving existing processes and ways of working.
