DTU Metabolomics Core at DTU Bioengineering in Kongens Lyngby seeks a Laboratory Technician to operate and maintain HPLC and high‑resolution LC‑MS systems. You will run samples for internal researchers and external projects, manage supplies, and uphold lab safety and quality standards in a collaborative, international environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC instrumentation; high‑resolution MS (QTOF) is a strong advantage.
• Experience with routine laboratory work including sample preparation and lab upkeep.
• Knowledge of GLP, safety regulations and proper documentation.
• Structured, detail‑oriented, with ability to work independently.
• Good English communication; collaboration with researchers.
• Ideally experience with natural products chemistry and sample preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including high‑resolution LC‑MS systems (calibration, QC runs, troubleshooting).
• Run samples for internal researchers and external projects (preparation to data acquisition).
• Order and manage laboratory supplies and keep the lab stocked and organized.
• Maintain lab standards: cleanliness, safety, waste handling, documentation and QC routines.
• Support users of the facility with guidance on sample submission and preparation.
• Contribute to development of workflows and procedures in the facility.
• Support students and collaborators in day-to-day activities.
