Job summary

International Council for The Exploration of the Sea (ICES) is seeking a Student Assistant in Copenhagen to support IT operations. You will assist with day-to-day IT tasks, help staff work securely and effectively both in the office and remotely, and gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.

We expect a student who has completed at least three years of IT education and is currently pursuing further studies.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least three years of IT-related studies.
• Currently pursuing further studies.
• Strong interest in IT support and workplace technology.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• IT support and troubleshooting
• Device setup and user administration
• Microsoft 365 services and workplace technology
• Meeting room and conferencing equipment
• IT improvements, documentation, and security activities
• Support cybersecurity and compliance activities, including CIS controls, using cloud and Microsoft 365 security solutions.
