Job summary

Maersk is seeking a motivated IT Support Student Assistant for our Copenhagen offices to provide on-site user support and incident handling for hardware and software. You will collaborate with teams, resolve issues, and share knowledge to improve service quality.

The role emphasizes customer focus, strong English communication, and ongoing learning while being based in Esplanaden/Nordhavn on a fixed-term basis of one year.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an IT or related course in a Danish university with at least 2 years left.
• Experience in IT support is an advantage.
• Familiarity with end-user systems such as Microsoft and Apple products, iOS and Android devices, meeting room technologies, O365, development tools, and other software.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Committed to enhancing the end-user experience with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face IT support to end users in the Copenhagen office, handling hardware and software incidents and requests in line with defined processes and business priorities.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, and offer proactive guidance to users on system functionality.
• Collaborate with second-line support and external vendors to resolve issues efficiently, while keeping users informed of progress.
• Share knowledge and contribute to team-wide best practices and process improvements.
• Proactively manage your own learning and stay current in your area of responsibility to support continuous improvement and professional growth.
