Job summary

COWI is seeking a Q/OHS Student Assistant to support Health, Safety, Process and Quality activities. You will blend your studies with practical tasks, joining our Process & Quality team in Lyngby and contributing to operational excellence.

Daily duties include coordinating Q/OHS activities, maintaining documentation, analyzing data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role is 12 hours per week, with availability in the Lyngby office.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis and management.
  • Interested in Occupational Health & Safety and process improvement.
  • Highly structured, detail-oriented, and able to learn quickly.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and administration of Health, Safety, Process, and Quality (Q/OHS) activities.
  • Manage Q/OHS documentation, reports, registers, statistics, and follow-up actions to support compliance and operational requirements.
  • Manage, analyze, and report data related to resource management, quality, and health & safety performance.
  • Maintain process documentation, systems, templates, and supporting materials, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, training programs, communication activities, and stakeholder follow-up, including internal communications and news publishing.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across Q/OHS functions, including system administration, mailbox management, practical coordination, ad hoc assignments, and other tasks as directed.

In this role, you will join our team of experts and work closely with our Process & Quality team and combine your theoretical knowledge from your studies with various practical tasks.

Furthermore, on a day-to‑day basis, you will:

  • Support the coordination and administration of Health, Safety, Process, and Quality (Q/OHS) activities, ensuring effective execution of related initiatives.
  • Manage Q/OHS documentation, reports, registers, statistics, and follow-up actions to support compliance and operational requirements.

  • The position is 12 hours a week but may also be more in periods. However, we expect the student assistant to be available in the Lyngby office.
