Join COWI as a Construction Manager overseeing on-site execution for infrastructure projects around Copenhagen. You will lead the site supervision team, coordinate with design and client teams, and ensure timely progress and compliance with contracts.
The role requires a minimum of 10 years in engineering/construction project management, strong Danish/English skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to manage rapid project changes on busy sites.
Do you want to manage some of the most exciting infrastructure projects around Copenhagen? Can you manage the daily execution on site? And do you enjoy finding practical solutions to the challenges that arise during construction? Then join COWI and grow your career!
As a construction manager, you will be responsible for site supervision for the execution of one or more of the many infrastructure and transportation projects in the local area. You will work closely with the design team, develop buildable and sustainable solutions, estimate costs and identify risks and you will work with the client and the contractor to ensure that the project progresses smoothly. You will lead a skilled supervision team and as needs arise, you may also perform supervision tasks yourself. Every day will require close dialogue with the client and contractor to drive the project forward.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, contractors or clients. Developing relationships with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. As Construction Manager, you will have a varied workday where you enjoy collaboration with others, working together to find solutions to daily challenges. Your skills include conflict management, and you can carry on a constructive dialogue with those you interact with. You have the experience and tools necessary to manage construction execution safely through completion.
