Job summary

UNICEF Supply Division in Copenhagen is seeking a senior professional to lead Procurement Services initiatives, developing a strategic framework and engaging with UNICEF HQ and regional offices to drive cross-functional projects.

The role requires a Master or equivalent in business/management, 8 years of experience including 2–3 years leading large, multi-stakeholder initiatives, fluent English, and strong analytic, negotiation, and communication skills. NGO experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• 8 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in marketing or leading customer-service teams, with 2-3 years managing large, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in internet navigation and publishing applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic framework for procurement services projects.
• Analyze and prioritize procurement services activities and engage with UNICEF HQ and RO/CO.
• Initiate new procurement services projects through partnerships at the conceptual stage.
• Develop systems for progress monitoring and propose corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate communication plans and manage public-facing information assets.
