Job summary

UNICEF - United Nations Children’s Fund in Copenhagen seeks a Programme Manager to oversee UNICEF's engagement in the HLGSC and to lead strategic collaboration across multi-stakeholder workstreams. You will coordinate with partners, lead planning, budgeting and governance processes, and ensure timely delivery of programme outputs.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Development or related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in programme management, partnership management, or strategic coordination.
• Strong programme/project management skills including planning, implementation, monitoring and risk management in multi-stakeholder settings.
• Excellent written and verbal English; knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead UNICEF's engagement in the Humanitarian Leadership Group on Supply Chains (HLGSC) and oversee multi-workstream coordination.
• Develop plans, budgets, milestones and governance for programme delivery; monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with DG ECHO, governance structures, co-lead organisations and partners; prepare strategic briefings and updates.
