Shield AI is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive defence market growth in Denmark. You will own the territory strategy, develop a robust pipeline across autonomy and aircraft offerings, and lead opportunities from shaping to award, working with senior military and defence partners.

The role requires a proven BD leader with strong commercial instincts, capability to navigate defence procurement, and a track record of growing strategic accounts while meeting regionally set quotas.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 6+ years of experience in business development, capture, sales, or related roles within defence, aerospace, or advanced tech environments.
• Experience operating across international defence or regulated markets with complex stakeholders.
• Proven track record of shaping and advancing long, multi-stakeholder opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute go-to-market strategy across assigned markets.
• Build and grow a disciplined pipeline across autonomy, aircraft, ISR, and mission systems.
• Lead end-to-end deal closure, including account planning, shaping, negotiation, and contract close.
• Engage with senior military leaders, ministries of defence, and strategic partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support capture and delivery.
• Maintain disciplined forecasting and pipeline reporting.
• Travel frequently throughout the territory and internationally.
