Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking a Solution Engineer (f/m/d) for the Wind Turbine Generator Service Operations team. The role is based in Esbjerg or Hamburg and is full-time with limited travel.

You will bridge Sales and Operations, translating customer needs into realistic, commercially attractive, operating solutions. You will support pricing, tendering, and project handovers with a strong technical or operational background and a focus on practical, value-adding service concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience within offshore wind, energy, or industrial sector.
• Technical or operational background is required.
• Strong English communication skills; German is a bonus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Structured and proactive approach to collaboration and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the sales organization with operational, technical and commercial insight.
• Providing cost input to enable pricing and commercial decisions.
• Aligning with Operations Readiness and helping projects start off well.
• Translating customer needs into realistic and commercially attractive solution concepts.
• Gathering, structuring and aligning input from operational and technical stakeholders.
• Assisting in scope clarification, assumption setting, and solution maturation during tender phases.
• Identifying and assessing operational risks, constraints, and dependencies, and ensuring transparency towards stakeholders.
