Job summary

Vattenfall seeks an O&M Technical Support Engineer - Offshore Wind to apply wind turbine expertise to offshore sites. You will provide second-line technical support focused on Vestas platforms (V80/V90/V112) to help keep our offshore wind fleet safe and available.

You will join the Wind Operations & Maintenance team, turning operational experience into clearer documentation, standardised solutions and reliable troubleshooting, with opportunities to influence projects and asset performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Vestas wind turbine platforms (V80, V90, V112).
• 4–7 years in technical operations, maintenance or engineering within wind energy or similar complex technical environment.
• Electrical, mechanical or related engineering background, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong English communication for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and resolve technical requests from offshore wind sites using ticketing systems, data, documentation and specialists.
• Analyse recurring alarms, failure patterns and trends to identify platform issues and support reliability improvements.
• Support remote troubleshooting using SCADA, alarm data, maintenance history and docs to guide site teams.
• Create and maintain standardised technical solutions, alarm guides and troubleshooting instructions.
• Collaborate with site operations, engineering, asset management, regional support, OEMs and suppliers for input during decisions.
• Provide technical input to future projects, Employer Requirements, contract discussions and improvement priorities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Technical Support processes, tools and docs.
