Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an O&M Technical Support Engineer - Offshore Wind to apply wind turbine expertise to offshore operations. You will join Wind Operations & Maintenance and provide second-line technical support focusing on Vestas platforms (V80, V90, V112).

You will analyse alarms, troubleshoot, create standardised solutions, and collaborate with site operations, engineering, OEMs and suppliers. The role is aimed at moving beyond fixing issues to identifying patterns and driving reliability,

Qualifications

• Experience with Vestas wind turbine platforms, preferably V80, V90 and/or V112.
• 4-7 years of experience in technical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting or engineering.
• Technical background in electrical, mechanical or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and resolve technical requests from offshore wind sites using tickets and data.
• Analyse recurring alarms and trends to identify platform issues and improvements.
• Support remote troubleshooting using SCADA and maintenance history.
• Create standardised technical solutions, alarm guides and troubleshooting instructions.
• Collaborate with site operations, engineering and OEMs to provide input for decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Technical Support processes and knowledge sharing.
