Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Renewables division to design, install, test and commission HV equipment for offshore substations. You will collaborate with a skilled team and contribute from tender phase through commissioning.

The role offers offshore wind project exposure, travel 10–30 days per year, and the chance to advance as an expert in high voltage equipment for offshore use, based in Esbjerg or Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in designing high voltage components such as GIS and oil-immersed equipment.
• Experience with installation, testing and commissioning of HV equipment.
• Understanding of offshore design requirements.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, calculations and engineering of HV/MV equipment in EPC projects.
• Coordinate with project team, manage schedule and budget to ensure successful completion.
• Plan and participate in FAT, HAT, SAT, commissioning and handover to clients.
• Develop, optimize and standardize technical solutions and support tenders.
