Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a highly expert Customer Solution Architect to join the Control and Digitalization team. The role focuses on crafting and delivering integrated automation and digital solutions for customers, combining products from the portfolio into a complete offering.

You will engage with customers and their technical departments, supporting sales, tendering, and project management in a matrix organization across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, where real-world experience carries weight.
• Solid architecture experience in combining multiple systems into one solution, preferably from a networking perspective, with SCADA or DCS in industrial applications.
• Extensive experience in design and commissioning of large-scale industrial automation, ideally from power generation or industrial automation.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and Africa region and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with automation products such as Omnivise T3000, WinCC and other OT solutions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual design and engineering of customer solutions for potential projects, including network and system architecture design.
• Designing, developing, factory acceptance testing and on-site commissioning of hardware and software solutions.
• Working with product teams to ensure feasibility and provide feedback for development.
• Providing technical recommendations to customers and stakeholders with clear communication.
• Assisting Sales and Bid Managers technically in tender preparation for various application fields.
• Estimating project influences and risks and promoting safety and innovation.
