Job summary

Siemens Energy in Denmark seeks a Software Architect OT to shape the Industrial Digital Foundation and software-defined automation for DPS. You will guide architecture, standards, roadmaps, and scalable solutions for assets, control systems, edge platforms, data, and AI-enabled energy services.

You will translate strategy into reusable patterns, govern architectures, mentor engineers, and align global teams while ensuring security, interoperability, and lifecycle support across OT and IT domains.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in automation, electrical or control engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in industrial automation, software, or critical infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of OT systems and high availability constraints.
• Experience with modern software engineering, APIs, IaC and secure lifecycle practices.

Responsibilities

• Define guardrails, standards and reference architectures for OT, edge and industrial data.
• Translate foundation into roadmaps and cross‑product adoption plans.
• Mentor engineers and architects and align teams across domains.
• Lead architecture governance and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
