Job summary

TORM is seeking a Software Engineer student assistant to contribute to the NEXUS fuel efficiency management system. You’ll join an international team of Denmark and India based colleagues, focusing on coding, data analysis, and numerical modelling for the next generation of energy-efficient operations on board 97 product tankers and in offices.

The role emphasizes learning and collaboration, with responsibilities spanning data acquisition, sensor-based crew advice, and feature specification.

Qualifications

• Currently in the last year of a BSc or the first year of a MSc in mathematics, physics, computer science or engineering.
• Experience with programming, preferably C# and SQL.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop data acquisition and normalization logic.
• Develop crew advice based on online sensor data.
• Code optimization and testing.
• Data analysis and feature specification contributions.
• Assist with general system support.
