Job summary

Centrica Energy is seeking an IT Operations professional to ensure stability, reliability and operational effectiveness of essential services within RET&O Operations. You will contribute across incident management, service management, access governance, and automation while partnering with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Background in IT Operations, Service Management, Application Support, Service Desk or related IT disciplines.
• Experience with monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
• Knowledge of Incident, Change, and Problem Management and ITSM processes.
• Experience with service support processes and operational governance.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of ITIL and service management best practices.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance using dashboards and tools.
• Respond to incidents and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with service owners to improve reliability and reduce risk.
• Maintain and optimize incident, change, problem, and request management processes.
• Support and manage access management for critical platforms, ensuring security and efficiency.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and improve delivery.
• Develop ITSM maturity including service catalogs, reporting, and SLAs.
• Contribute to operational reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document operational procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
