Job summary

Centrica Energy in Denmark seeks a Network Engineer to operate and improve private network infrastructure supporting trading, operational and data-centre environments. You will join a collaborative team and help evolve the private cloud foundation while ensuring security, resilience and performance across critical networks.

Qualifications

Solid hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Cisco Firepower, and network security controls.
Experience in enterprise/network data-centre environments and day-to-day operations.
Ability to design, build and operate secure branch office networks globally.

Responsibilities

Operate, optimise and maintain private network infrastructure across routers, switches, firewalls and connectivity services.
Support data centre networking platforms and ensure resilient, scalable services.
Configure and maintain Cisco Firepower platforms for secure segmentation and policy controls.
Troubleshoot incidents in business-critical environments and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
Contribute to infrastructure projects including private cloud evolution and hybrid cloud enablement.
