Job summary

DataX Connect in Denmark is seeking a Site Manager to lead civils delivery on a major hyperscale data centre project. You will oversee groundworks, earthworks, concrete and structural works, coordinating site teams and subcontractors to meet programme, quality and safety standards.

In this fast-paced, high-stakes environment you will manage logistics, site planning and stakeholder communications across multiple disciplines, ensuring safe, efficient progress from ground break to handover.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of site management experience on large construction projects.
• Strong background with main contractors.
• Experience with civils packages on hyperscale or data centre projects.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent health, safety and quality awareness.

Known for delivering complex hyperscale projects across Europe, the business continues to expand its project delivery teams due to a significant pipeline of secured work across the EMEA region.

The role

Due to continued growth and new project awards, the business is seeking a Site Manager to join their team in Denmark on a major hyperscale data centre project. This is a key position within the project team, responsible for managing the delivery of the civils package across the project, from groundworks through to structural works, within a fast-paced mission-critical environment.

The role will have a strong focus on groundworks, earthworks, concrete, structural works ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality and client requirements.

Could this role be for you?

• 8+ years’ experience in construction/site management
• Strong background working for a main contractor
• Proven experience managing civils packages on large-scale construction projects
• Experience across groundworks, earthworks, concrete, structural works
• Data centre, hyperscale, industrial, pharma or major infrastructure experience preferred
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics and programme delivery
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and multiple stakeholders
• Strong health & safety and quality awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure construction environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
