Job summary

Evergreen Talent Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead the on-site delivery of electrical building services for a flagship Hyperscale Data Centre in Copenhagen, Denmark. This role ensures safe, high-quality installations aligned with project schedules and client expectations.

The successful candidate will oversee multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and coordination with project directors, commissioning and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or Construction Management, or recognised electrical trade qualification.
• 7+ years' experience as Electrical Construction Manager or similar on large M&E/Data Centre projects.
• Proven track record delivering major Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial or Semiconductor projects with Electrical Building Services installation.
• Extensive knowledge of Electrical Construction Management, LV/MV/HV infrastructure, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, busbar, cabling, power distribution, lighting and BMS/EPMS.
• Strong leadership overseeing multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors with focus on safety, quality and programme delivery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, MS Project, ACC, BIM 360, Procore.
• Applicants must have the right to work in Denmark or be eligible for a Danish work permit.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

A market-leading international Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join its growing project delivery team based in Copenhagen, Denmark, initially supporting the successful delivery of a major Hyperscale Data Centre.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager, Senior Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Site Manager, Electrical Project Manager or M&E Construction Manager to lead the construction and installation of major Electrical Building Services packages on one of Europe's largest Data Centre projects.

The Role - Electrical Construction Manager

As Electrical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all Electrical Building Services installation activities across a large-scale Hyperscale Data Centre. The successful Electrical Construction Manager will oversee site operations, subcontractor management, construction sequencing, quality assurance, commissioning readiness and programme delivery while ensuring all electrical works are completed in accordance with project specifications and client requirements.

Working as part of an experienced project leadership team, the Electrical Construction Manager will play a critical role in delivering a world-class Data Centre project from construction through to energisation, commissioning and final handover.

Key Responsibilities Electrical Construction Management

• Lead all on-site Electrical Building Services construction activities across a major Hyperscale Data Centre, ensuring electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project programmes, specifications and quality standards.
• Manage daily site operations, supervising Electrical Supervisors, Site Engineers, Foremen, subcontractors and specialist vendors while coordinating all Electrical Construction activities throughout the Data Centre project lifecycle.

Electrical Building Services Delivery

• Oversee the installation, testing and coordination of LV, MV and HV Electrical Infrastructure, Transformers, Switchgear, UPS Systems, Generators, Busbar Systems, Cable Containment, Power Distribution, Lighting, Small Power, Fire Alarm, Security Systems, Structured Cabling, Earthing & Lightning Protection, BMS, EPMS and associated Electrical Building Services installations.
• Coordinate engineering releases, procurement schedules, material deliveries, off-site fabrication, temporary power installations and construction sequencing to ensure efficient delivery of all Data Centre electrical works.

Programme & Site Coordination

• Work closely with Project Planners to monitor construction progress, identify programme risks, develop recovery plans and maintain critical path activities throughout the Data Centre construction programme.
• Chair daily coordination meetings, subcontractor meetings and construction planning sessions while ensuring effective communication between construction, engineering, commissioning, commercial and client teams.

Health, Safety, Quality & Commissioning

• Champion a proactive Health & Safety culture, ensuring full compliance with project safety procedures, Danish regulations and company standards across all Electrical Construction activities.
• Work closely with QA/QC Engineers and Commissioning Teams to ensure Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspections, testing, energisation, Level 1-5 commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and client handover activities are completed successfully.
• Ensure all electrical installations are fully inspected, tested and commissioned prior to client acceptance and project completion.

Commercial & Stakeholder Management

• Support the Electrical Project Manager with cost control, change management, subcontractor performance, procurement coordination and commercial reporting while ensuring successful project delivery.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients, consultants, utility providers, specialist subcontractors and equipment manufacturers while representing the company as the lead Electrical Construction Manager on site.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or possess a recognised Electrical trade qualification supported by significant site management experience.
• 7+ years' experience as an Electrical Construction Manager, Senior Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Site Manager, Electrical Project Manager, M&E Construction Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager or Electrical Engineering Manager within an M&E Contractor environment.
• Proven experience delivering major Data Centre, Hyperscale Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or Semiconductor projects with responsibility for Electrical Building Services installation and site management.
• Extensive knowledge of: Electrical Construction Management, Electrical Project Delivery, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Building Services, Data Centre Construction, Hyperscale Data Centres, Mission Critical Construction, LV, MV & HV Infrastructure, Transformers, Switchgear, UPS Systems, Standby Generators, Busbar, Cable Containment, Power Distribution, Lighting, Small Power, Fire Alarm Systems, BMS, EPMS, Commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), Construction Planning, Programme Management, Contractor Coordination
