Job summary

Reblade, a Danish tech startup, seeks a Senior Test & V&V Engineer to lead validation of drone-based repairs. You will own V&V across unit to field tests, coordinate pilots and technicians, and ensure our hardware and software stack meets release standards.

You will design test rigs, write automated scripts, and drive quality control from FAT to EOL. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong English communication in a fast-paced robotics team.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechatronics, robotics, mechanical engineering, electronics, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on testing of electromechanical or embedded systems.
• Experience leading test activities and coordinating technicians or operators.
• Experience preparing and running FAT/SAT or similar customer acceptance testing.
• CAD skills (Onshape or similar) and 3D printing.
• Fluent English and a collaborative, hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the V&V strategy and test activities at unit, subsystem, integrated system, flight testing, and field validation.
• Define test requirements and acceptance criteria with hardware and software teams.
• Plan and manage test campaigns; coordinate drone pilots and technicians during bench, flight, and field tests.
• Design and build test rigs and fixtures using CAD and 3D printing.
• Write and maintain test procedures and automated scripts for hardware and robotics/embedded software.
• Set up quality control, including incoming inspection, FAI, and EOL testing.
• Prepare FAT and SAT plans, procedures, and customer-facing test reports.
• Analyze test data and maintain traceability from requirements to results.
